About Rob Ridout

Rob has been in the recruitment game for over  26 years. In 2008, Rob wrote and successfully published his best-selling book, CVforLife. The methods and strategies in Rob’s book have helped hundreds of talented individuals find great roles in forward-thinking companies.  His headhunting career spans across a  multitude of industry sectors and leading brands in South Africa and the UK.

There is hardly a role that Rob has not worked on and his knowledge of the scarce skills landscape ensure that he meets his brief with  precision. Rob combines an old school headhunting approach to locating staff with a  high-tech Artificial Intelligence approach to assist with the research process.

Rewards Executive - SATaxi 
This was a unique search as the role was a combination of two positions wrapped up into one job spec. 
The search timeline took approximately three weeks and involved a highly complex desk research exercise targeting Remuneration Specialists in South Africa across all industry sectors. We approached approximately one hundred remuneration candidates and long-listed these candidates to SATaxi. The search was concluded with the successful placement of We placed a highly accomplished candidate who was hands-on as well as highly proficient in remuneration strategies. 
Data Science Executive - SATaxi 
Isantya were retained to find a senior Data Science Executive with significant experience in the financial services sector. 
As we had already placed several key individuals in the data science team we had an excellent track record and understood the businesses strategy.
We successfully concluded this assignment and placed a highly experienced individual from a JSE listed entity into the team. 
Head of Finance 
We were provided with an open mandate to create an entirely new team for the South African arm of the business. The initial mandate was to find and place a Head of Finance into the business who would set up all commercial procedures and establish the legal entity. We successfully found nad placed a top candidate from within the ICT space. 
Client Development Executive 
This was a high-level search and the client requested a person with specific experience with one on South Africas largest Telecomms companies.
The search focused on top-performing Accountant Managers with very unique client development skills. A successful candidate was placed.
